Salesian, Watts, East Los Angeles and Challengers Boys & Girls Clubs Event :

November 2, 2006 -- Squid & Squash had a ball surprising the Boys & Girls Clubs with a check presentation! Salesian, Watts, East Los Angeles and Challengers Boys & Girls Clubs participated in the “Flushed Away Toilette Races”by racing toilettes around a track vying for a grand prize donation to their respective organization. KTLA morning news anchor, Gayle Anderson, presented not only one check to the winner but checks to EACH of the participating organizations. The Boys & Girls Clubs promote the development of self-esteem, values and skills for boys & girls ages 6 - 17, with special emphasis on youth from disadvantaged circumstances.
